Some weeks test your patience. Others remind you exactly why you do what you do.
Last week was one of those full-circle moments.
Lauryn, Mikayla, and I spent the day at Euphoria Beauty Institute, speaking to two classes of students getting ready to graduate and begin their careers in the beauty industry. There’s something really special about being in a room full of artists who are just getting started... that mix of excitement, nerves, and determination feels familiar.
We talked about the parts of this industry that don’t always make it into the textbooks: the discipline it takes to build consistency, the importance of showing up on social media even when it’s uncomfortable, and how success comes down to perseverance more than anything else.
We ended the day with a lash quiz and a fan-making challenge, giving out WiNKED sample bags to the winners. Their enthusiasm was contagious... and honestly, it reminded me why WiNKED exists in the first place: to create opportunities, spark confidence, and show future artists what’s possible when passion meets purpose.
💼 Next Growth Stop: Avalon Career Fair
This week, we’re headed to the Avalon Career Fair to meet more aspiring artists and share what The Safe Place for Your Face is all about.
We’ll have a table set up, a giveaway for our signature sample bags, and a QR code for students to enter. Winners will be announced on Instagram the next day, so make sure you’re following along @winked_lv!
Beyond the giveaway, our goal is connection. The more we can bridge the gap between school and real-world experience, the stronger this industry becomes.
