My Lash Salon Success Story: How WiNKED Grew From One Room to a 5-Room Salon in Las Vegas

This week WiNKED turns 3... but the truth is, my lash salon success story started long before 2022. Back in 2015, I walked away from a 13-year abusive relationship with nothing but tweezers, faith, and a promise I made to God.
The Beginning: A Promise Made in 2015
Back in 2015, I was at a crossroads. I had just walked away from a long, abusive relationship... a cycle I had been caught in for over 13 years. I was scared, broken, but determined.
That night, I prayed. I remember it so clearly. I told God:
“If You help me stay away for good, I’ll dedicate myself to my kids, my clients, my craft... and to You.”
I didn’t have a plan or investors. I didn’t even know what the future would look like. All I had were my tweezers, a whole lot of faith, and the promise I made.
From that one little room, I started my first business. It was tiny, but it became my safe place. It was the first step toward freedom... for me, and for my kids.
My Lash Salon Success Story: The Leap of Faith in 2022
For the next seven years, I worked quietly, one client at a time. I built relationships. I grew my skills. And I held onto that promise.
Then in 2022, I did something that terrified me: I signed the lease for a 5-room salon.
It was the biggest leap of faith I had ever taken. I was scared to death, but I knew it was time.
And let me tell you... God is so faithful. 🥲 These past three years have grown me more than any other season of my life. That leap turned WiNKED from a one-woman operation into something bigger...
A space for artists to grow

A community that is still in the making, but closer now than ever before
“The Safe Place for Your Face” became more than a tagline. It became our reality.
Launching WiNKED Products in 2025
Now, here we are... three years later.
This year, we’re launching our very own lash product line: adhesives, lash trays, and tools designed by artists, for artists. Because I believe clients deserve the safest, most beautiful results, and artists deserve products they can trust.
But WiNKED has always been about more than services or products. My mission has always been bigger: to build a community. To create a safe place where women feel seen, loved, encouraged, and supported.
Because I know there are women out there walking the same road I once did. And they need a place where they can start over, rebuild, and be reminded of their worth.
