When Growth Means Setting Boundaries 💜

This week has been full of momentum—and we’re feeling it in every corner of the studio.
First up, let’s celebrate a huge team win: Lauryn just hit her highest number of clients in a single week! 🙌
Watching her confidence and client base grow has been such a proud moment for all of us.

Behind the scenes, it’s been a record week in many ways, and that kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a reflection of consistency, hustle, and most importantly—the energy we choose to protect.
Because while it’s easy to highlight the wins, the truth is that leadership also means making hard decisions to protect your space.
And this week?
We had to let a few clients go.
Let’s Talk About It: The Energy You Bring Matters
At WiNKED, we’ve worked hard to create a space where our artists feel supported, respected, and inspired. And we’re just as intentional about who sits in our chairs as we are about who joins our team.
Here are a few non-negotiables that matter more than people realize:
1. Respecting the Artists
Speaking to our team with kindness and professionalism is the bare minimum. Disrespectful tone or repeat negativity? That energy won’t fly here.
2. Following Our Policies
Our policies aren’t just rules—they protect everyone’s time, energy, and results. We’re always happy to clarify them, but we don’t bend them.
3. Consistent Unhappiness or Aggression
If there’s always a complaint, correction, or issue (no matter who the artist is), it might not be a service problem—it might be a trust issue. And we’re not in the business of forcing a fit.
Letting a client go isn’t about ego. It’s about upholding a safe, high-vibe environment for our team and the clients who truly value the experience.
We See the Good Ones, Too
While we’re on the topic, we have to shout out the ones who do show up with trust, kindness, and great energy. Clients like Lynn B, who recently left this:
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟“My long-time FAVORITE human Ashli opened her own studio and it’s as FABULOUS as it could possibly be. BEAUTIFUL decor, comfiest chairs and the most talented staff. Mikayla fixed what had gone wrong elsewhere and perfected the more natural style requested. Highest recommendation for WiNKED. 🤩”
These are the people we love creating for.
These are the people who make this work fulfilling.
A Safe Space—For Real
Being “the safe place for your face” isn’t just our tagline—it’s a promise.
It means safe techniques. Safe conversations.
And yes, safe energy for both our artists and our clients.
So if you’ve been loving the vibe, thank you for being part of what makes it work.
And if you’re new here—we’re so glad you found us. Just know: at WiNKED, we take care of our people.
See you soon,
Ashli + The WiNKED Team
The Safe Place for Your Face 💜
